Imams are not giving importance to the straightening of the sufoof (rows) before salaah with jamaat starts. No importance to the gaps in salaah either. Before salaah starts, some imaams say “astaww” which nobody even understands nowadays, rather, imaams should mention the importance of ensuring the sufoof are straight before starting salaah and also in their programs, so far in jame masjid, Maulana Imraan has done dars regarding the importance of making sure the sufoof are straight, don’t know about any other masaajid though. To mention it once is not enough, it needs to be mentioned again and again so the ummah understands. It’s because of our rows in salaah not being straight that there is so much disunity between the muslims, this is mentioned in hadith.

Be transparent and open with your communication. Publish monthly financial statements.
Involve the youth and organise especial programs where youngsters can be involved in the masajid (Fajr club etc).
Form a group of volunteers to assist Masjid users, particularly with car parking etc.
